Grandparents in Oklahoma do not have a constitutional right to visitation and must go through the Court system. If they have to resort to the Court’s because they are being denied visits, then the situation warrants representation as this can be a very contentious battle. And the statute is quite specific as to what burdens must be met by the grandparent in order to be awarded visitation.
